This safety gate is designed to fit in doorways, hallways, or on stairs. The easy no-drill pressure mount system helps prevent damage. It also works on walls or flat banisters with the included hardware kit.

With a 20-inch wide door that can swing both ways, the gate stays open when engaged more than 90 degrees. The door auto-closes when opened less than 90 degrees. A special stopper prevents the door from swinging over the stairs when installed at the top.

The gate locks securely to keep babies, toddlers, and pets contained, with narrowly spaced bars that prevent them from squeezing through. Adults can open the door with one hand by engaging the latch and pulling up on the door.

Rest assured, the gate may appear slightly bent initially but will be corrected upon proper installation. Note that this gate does not fit openings measuring 33-33.5", 37-37.5", 41-41.5", 45-45.5", and 49-49.5". Third-party safety tested and approved.
